Kerry.

Picture
Kerry lives in Adelaide, South Australia, with her husband and cocker spaniel dog.  When people asked Kerry what she did for a career, she always replied "I change peoples' lives" referring to her role as a corporate trainer and facilitator for over 35 years.

Having documented her mother’s 10 year dementia journey as a cathartic way to deal with the highs and lows of the unknown around dementia, she realised this was another way she could change peoples' lives.

Having said goodbye numerous times over the years, ‘The Longest Goodbye’ was created.

Kerry’s mum, Wendy, was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1935. She married and had 2 daughters, Karen and Kerry.

She adored her family and her 2 beautiful grandsons, enjoyed gardening, loved her roses and had a love for antiques and op-shops. She always worked so she could enjoy the finer things in life.

In 2013, she was diagnosed with dementia, though in hindsight, there were signs a lot earlier.
